Large native broadleaf tree with a papery peeling bark. Green leaves turn warm yellow in autumn. Catkins appear in spring and are brown/yellow in colour. Flowers are green turning deep red over the summer. Not suitable for planting near buildings or hardscaping. Hardy, deciduous tree. Height: 8m x Spread: 3m.
Lovely medium sized tree with dark chestnut-red bark when young which slowly peels like tissue paper to reveal a new layer of bark. The bark colour improves at the tree ages. Fascination has exceptionally long catkins in spring which are yellow in colour. Hardy deciduous tree. Height: 18m x Spread: 10m
